Important People of the Restoration*

Joseph Smith: The first prophet of Christ's restored church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Jesus Christ: Christ established his church while he was here upon the earth, he later appeared with God to Joseph Smith to restore the church that he had originally established during his lifetime.

Emma Smith: Wife of the prophet Joseph Smith, first president of the Relief Society.

Oliver Cowdery: Became good friends with Joseph Smith and helped in translated the Book of Mormon, as well as being a part of the restoration of the first parts of the priesthood.

David Whitmer: Knew the Smith family and allowed the Church to use his family's home regularly, and the first church meeting was held there, too.

Martin Harris: He believed in the gospel as taught by Jesus Christ in the Bible, helped in translating the Book of Mormon, and lost the first 116 pages of the Book of Mormon.
